Celtic may be without up to five regulars in Sunday's clash at Dundee United with Artur Boruc, Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney all out.
Hoops boss Tony Mowbray has confirmed the trio have "no chance" of being fit for the trip to Tannadice while skipper Stephen McManus is suspended and fellow centre-back Glenn Loovens is also carrying a knock.
Mowbray said of Boruc, Brown and Maloney: "They are not ready to train this week, so it's not a question of rushing them back.

GEORGIOS SAMARAS was in World Cup dreamland last night but there was agony for Aiden McGeady as the Republic of Ireland were controversially knocked out by France.
Hoops striker Samaras claimed a wonderful assist in Greece's 1-0 win over Ukraine in Donetsk.
He swivelled 50 yards from goal and played a sublime pass into the path of Demetris Salpingidis, who finished superbly.

Rangers defender Madjid Bougherra and Celtic players Aiden McGeady and Georgios Samaras enjoyed mixed fortunes on Wednesday night after their respective countries' bid to reach the 2010 World Cup.
McGeady came off the bench for Ireland in their game with France in Saint-Denis, Paris.
Robbie Keane had given them a first-half lead to level the scores on aggregate, but they were left furious when Thierry Henry handled the ball in the build-up to William Gallas' decisive goal in extra-time.
